Hello there!
I’m a creative soul, and I am passionate about all things visual. I am capable of creating visual communication solutions using a platform of various areas of expertise including, illustration, painting and photography, sculpture, digital and traditional graphic design. I believe in lifelong learning, and art is my favourite topic.
I can’t do math or science, I am an artist through and through, this being said, this is all from me. Below is some more blah blah blah for anyone interested written by my copy editor, and dear friend.
“Ricardo excelled as a young child, and adult in visual arts, both in a structured educational context, and a free-form personal setting.
Ricardo then went on to attend the prestigious University of Toronto/Sheridan combined Arts program, receiving a degree in Fine Art and Art History from the University of Toronto, as well as an Honours diploma from Sheridan in Studio Fine Art. He also took several courses in Architecture from Mohawk College, and additionally completed the rigorous Graphic Design Media program, receiving another diploma for his skilful studies. During his impressive art education, Ricardo received over 22 awards for his innovative work across a broad spectrum of media, including drawing, sculptures, paintings and photography.
Ricardo’s artistic skill lies primarily in bringing small moments and relationships into a sharp focus. He takes the personal moments and ideas that slip away from our everyday attention so easily, and magnifies them so that their unnoticed beauty is amplified into an elegant fragment of our lives that deserves all the resplendent attention he portrays them in. People, landscapes and concepts are examined and re-portrayed into unique, attractive pieces of art that call attention to our unconscious thought structures.“
